When I'm finished doing my laundry with Eco Nuts, my clothes, and my conscience are both clean and fresh.

One way or another, we all need to do laundry. We wear clothes, they get dirty and stinky and we wash them. But what we choose to wash them with greatly matters. Sure, it's amazing to choose liquid laundry soap that is not tested on animals, biodegradable, unscented, made from natural ingredients, etc. But there's an environmental solution better than that: Eco Nuts.

Eco Nuts are the nut of a tree grown in the Himalayas. They have a naturally high level of saponin (sudsy stuff) so their processing consists of simply de-seeding and sterilization. Although they are shipped from far away, they are very light compared to a liquid laundry soap and so don't require as much energy to ship.

Plus, and this makes me so happy, they come in a cardboard box! One large box will do 360 loads and save about 11 plastic laundry jugs. Pretty awesome!

I've been using Eco Nuts for about four years now with no complaints. Our household laundry is generally pretty grubby; my husband's job involves physical labour, so he gets stinky, and my children are children, so they get dirty. I wouldn't say that Eco Nuts get out every stain but what laundry soap does?

Where to Buy Eco Nuts

Unfortunately, the stores where I have bought Eco Nuts in the past don't carry them anymore. But you can ask around at local stores because if enough of us ask, someone is sure to start carrying them. Until then, you can give Eco Nuts a try by ordering them: https://well.ca/products/eco-nuts-organic-laundry-soap_59707.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw8svsBRDqARIsAHKVyqEXpRBIB10rrzyz_C6964NZt2MzhfzcgZ2y8RmC14RhQ8JyqmBFsuIaAr6REALw_wcB
